AMAVUBI will regroup on May 18 for their 2012 Africa Nations Cup (CAN) Group H second leg qualifier against Burundi.

The Wasps will head to Bujumbura with a commanding 3-1 victory from the first leg.

The team’s head coach Sellas Tetteh has been keeping track of his players and is expected to name his provisional squad early next month.

In the first leg, Jean Claude Iranzi, Elias Uzamukunda a.k.a Baby and Eric Gasana were on target for the wasps while Trabzonspor’s based midfielder Papy Faty netted Burundi’s consolation.

The win moved Rwanda into third place while Burundi dropped to fourth place.
A win in Bujumbura coupled with a loss by Benin will leave Amavubi second.
