RWANDA’s volleyball head coach Paul Bitok has backed the National University of Rwanda (NUR) to make the semi-finals of this year’s CAVB Africa Club Championship to be held in Egypt from April 26-May 8.

The Kenyan tactician, who recently helped Rwanda to qualify for the 2011 All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique, believes that the team has good players and plenty of experience to reach the last four.

"I know that the competition brings together the best sides on the continent but when I look at this NUR side, they have the potential to reach the semis,” he said.

With NUR’s head coaches Fidele Nyirimana Fidele and Jean de Dieu Bagirishya in Morocco for a coaching clinic, the Kenyan is taking charge of the varsity side’s training sessions.
