Four more names of scribes killed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis were, yesterday, released by the Media High Council (MHC)

Those killed, were identified as Straton Byagamba, Fidele Kanyabugoyi, Ignace Ruhatana and Carpophore Gatera.

"The MHC will continue to look for more names of journalists who were killed in the genocide because the current list does not have a definitive figure,” the Executive Secretary of the MHC, Patrice Mulama said.

He pointed out that the four names will be included on the list of 50 journalists released during the Genocide commemoration period.

"The main objective is to continue the process of identifying more journalists and every step we have undertaken concerning this issue has yielded good results,” Mulama said.
