TIGO honours Genocide victims

GISOZI - Staff of TIGO Rwanda, yesterday, visited Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre to pay their respects to victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis.TIGO’s Head of Sales and Customer Care, Diego Camberos, said the main objective of visiting the centre was to remember and honour the victims buried at the site.

GISOZI - Staff of TIGO Rwanda, yesterday, visited Gisozi Genocide Memorial Centre to pay their respects to victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis.

TIGO’s Head of Sales and Customer Care, Diego Camberos, said the main objective of visiting the centre was to remember and honour the victims buried at the site.

"These are sad times. Everyone in the country should come together to remember and push for ‘Never Again’,” Camberos said. The telecommunications firm made a donation of Rwf1 million to the centre.

The company also visited orphans of the Itetero Association in Kamonyi District in Gitarama, where they donated items worth over Rwf1.5 million to 33 orphans sheltered in 15 families.
