As we grow older, there are things we regret not having done when we still could. And now, because of age, or circumstance, we know they are gone forever. They vary from man to man, but most men share. Here is a list of the top ten things men regret not having done when they still could.

No.10 Not playing a physical sport

Sports are more than just a physical activity, an exercise. For those who play sports, they are aware of the invigorating, relaxing and stress-relieving benefits. Besides, there is that feeling of achievement and comradeship you gain. It is no wonder that when a man reaches an age where he realizes that he isn’t as fit as he would have been, he regrets why he never took up a sport.  This is particularly true after you've waited until you're limited to only golf.

No.9 Not staying in touch with friends

After school, friends go in all directions. It is much later, when you are lonely, and all the people you know are either your workmates or your relatives that you realize how much you miss your friends. So, when you still have them in sight, keep track on them so that you don’t end up a lonely old man.

No.8 Not getting in a fight

As strange as it sounds, it is true! A man is a naturally physical creature, and most men would love a chance to prove their physical strength, besides their mental capabilities. This is something that not even sports can satisfy, since sports have rules. A fight, on the other hand, has no rules, and one’s true self comes out. Ever wonder why men love wrestling games? Or war movies?  If you didn't have at least one solid fight while you were young, there's a good chance you never will.

No.7 Not spending on a car you really like

It becomes progressively harder to justify having an impractical, flashy, impressive car as you get older. When you have a family, and are trying to fit a certain social status, there are cars that are just not practical. The cost aside, a respectable family man wouldn’t just buy a loud fast car! And as you get older, even if you can afford th flashy cars, it won’t be as rewarding as it would have been when you were young.

No.6 Getting married too soon

Married life is a totally different story from what most people think before they tie the knot. See, the reality hits hard when you realize you have to change overnight and stop doing more than half of the things you really like doing. No wonder many marriages fail. Much later, many men regret why they didn’t take their time, at least until they were emotionally ready to cope with the demands of married life.  Winding up in an unhappy relationship, especially with kids involved, is guaranteed to influence the rest of your life.

No.5 Letting willing parties go

Youth is attractive, both as its own end and because it's easier to be an energetic guy in great physical shape when you're still young. Granted, some women are attracted to older guys, but for the most part, a younger man will get more ladies than an older guy.

All those girls who are willing to party with you, and you are "not into it", will haunt you later when you realize that it is no longer so easy to get it on. So, man, do your thing when they still see something in you.
