What is wrong with the chemicals used to spray the mosquitoes?

I to wish ask the ministry of Health to explain to us the effectiveness of the chemicals used in the massive spray of mosquitoes in Kigali City.

The public mosquito killing is part of the government campaign against malaria in Rwanda, unfortunately the chemical used seems not to be effective on mosquitoes since it has instead killed other insects and mosquitoes are still at large.

I thought it was only my house that had had the bad luck or carelessness that new mosquitoes had entered after the exercise but I have heard other people complaining of the same problem.

Could it be the ineffectiveness of the chemical or, poor application by those carrying out the exercise? And how much should we trust the chemical that failed to kill the target insects on our health?

The ministry should come out and explain otherwise the campaign may fail.
