This week trading activity was considerably lower than last week. The total turnover for the week was Rwf10,935,200 from 64,300 Bralirwa shares traded in 6 recorded transactions between Rwf170 and Rwf175. The shares closed at Rwf170, Rwf5 lower compared to the previous week.

The previous week, a turnover of Rwf1,539,599,500 was realized from 9,038,700 BRALIRWA shares traded in 10 deals between Rwf171 and Rwf175.

On Friday, the RSE realized a total turnover was Rwf6,852,500 from 40,300 shares of Bralirwa traded in 2 recorded transactions at Rwf170 and Rwf175. The market closed with outstanding offers in two lots of 8,300 and 100 BRALIRWA shares at Rwf173 and another lot of 62,300 at Rwf175. 

There were no bids outstanding at the end of the formal trading hours. The KCB and NMG counters did not record any activity and their share prices remained unchanged at Rwf185 and Rwf1200 respectively.

The KCB shares are still trading cum dividend up to May 9, 2011.
