My clothes don't match well with the city.

I hate this city. More than anything now
Are all cities like this?
It makes me miss my home village
The selfishness that breeds is unbearable
Everyone is there for themselves
The old, young they all are on their own
I hate the city…

No true friends, to lean your shoulder on
No guardians, no son, no daughter
No one to talk to
Each one plucks a so-called ear piece to listen to music
To listen and talk to themselves
They are better off listening to people they don’t know
They love Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Rihanna and the others
Unpatriotic they are…

They don’t listen to the local artist that passes on a message
No, they think they are dim-witted and naïve. Egoism just
Gash I hate the city…

I barely move about around the city nowadays
Wherever I pass people stare at me with nauseated faces
They assert I am naïve about fashion
Matching colours from head to toe is what they gaze at as fashion

he pits is what I am wished for
Worst of all, they wish there was fashion police to arrest people like me
Sincerely why can’t I hate the city…arrghhh!!
God I hate the city!

The noisy streets can make anyone ill
Motor engines are running 24/7; loud music from shops plays all day
Crowded spaces get to my nerves
No fresh air
I wish I were the Mayor
Polluting taxis and vehicles wouldn’t flood the city
Insolent drivers; hurting innocent lives is customary to them

You can hardly stand with two legs in the streets, it’s over crowded
I yearn for my village even more
Where I breath fresh air from trees and where mountains reign
I hate the city…

Speaking of expenses
The bills are way beyond my means
I have to pay water bills, electricity bills, medical bills…
Sleeping bills, tax bills
Even paying to use a toilet!
I hate the city with all my heart

As for the relationships, they are money oriented
Without a car you are valueless
I am going back to my village tomorrow!
Because I hate you city!
