"No, I can never seek a lift from a stranger or someone I have met for the very first time. This is because I believe it’s not right even when it comes to order and public discipline.”

Boniface Rucagu, National Chairman of the Itorero Taskforce.

"To be honest, I would ask for a lift especially if it’s getting late and I am left with no option. I do this to avoid even more danger that I might face when it gets very dark.”

Jean de Dieu Higiro, Journalist at Radio Flash.

"Yes, I will ask for a lift even when I do not know the driver as long as I realize I am really stuck and it’s the only means to my destination.”

Annie Kairaba, Director of Rwanda Initiative for Sustainable Development (RISD).

"I can never fail to ask a fellow human being for help in the same way I can offer a lift to any person. In other words, unless this person turns down my request, I will go with them.”

Eric Senderi, Musician.
