That’s not true!

I was eavesdropping on a group of young men the other day, who were talking about love for expensive cars and the extra mile they would go just to possess one.

One guy said he’d give up a beautiful woman in exchange for car, simply because, a nice car will lure more women to him, but nice women will not bring nice cars to him.

The other guys said that pretty cars come with a certain prestige to whoever drives them. People wishfully admire the owner, believing that he is a person of power and of great wealth.

That is true; most men are thrilled when they hear that somebody regards them powerful, so they buy expensive cars, take good care of them and get all the power feelings they want.

True also, a beautiful, wise and happy woman is the other important piece of the puzzle. All men know the world rates their success by the kind of woman they get married to.

That is why men will do anything to see that their women are happy; they will buy for them expensive jewelry, take them to expensive hotels and all. So, when they go out in the public with a smiling face, they can do their men proud.

On the other hand, when a man forgets to take care of his wife, everybody will somehow find out by the look on her face. This will embarrass the man, regardless of whether he drives the latest Rolls Royce or Mercedes.

Although men have a natural craving for cars, they know it is nothing compared to the feelings they have for their wives and girlfriends, so they know it’s for their own good when they show good care to women.

Although men love cars, there is nothing more they can do with them; apart from driving them around, or taking them for service, they cannot ask the cars to prepare them a delicious meal after a heavy work day, or have a descent conversation with them.

It can never be a substitutive for women.  Women may complain about husbands not giving them enough time, home support and many other things; but I have never heard one complaining that their mate loves his car more than he loves them.

If a woman brought up an argument like that one, people would think she just doesn’t have a right reason for complaining. Cars cannot be treated as personalities- they are just one possession, which can even be given in as collateral to a bank.

They say that behind every successful man, there is a woman; not a car. That is why it is foolishness to care for material things like cars and forget the most important priorities.

If you take a good look at the community we live in, you will see that men know that women and cars are incomparable.
