A host of Rwandan players including the likes of Hakim Sahabo were, however, absent from last weekend’s football action.

CAF Confederations Cup

Imanishimwe was at his usual best at left-back and played all 90 minutes for AS FAR Rabat who came from behind to wallop ASKO FC 5-1 in Group C of the CAF Confederation Cup.

France

In the Ligue 1, Warren Kamazi was an unused substitute for Toulouse who lost 3-2 at home to Olympique Marseilles while, in the U19 division, Hakim Sahabo was rested by LOSC Lille in their 2-2 draw with AJ Auxerre.

Belgium
