Who wants to get old? If I had a choice I wouldn’t think twice about staying young forever! Wrinkles and menopause, no thank you. Can you imagine your skin shrinking before your own eyes when you can do something about it? Of course not.

Keeping a young fresh look is not easy, although there are some exceptions where an old person looks naturally healthy and young without any investment. Others have to part with lots of "dime” to regain their youthfulness. 

Today you will meet the grey haired lady and tomorrow you will see a sudden change about the grey hair, this time round black. But the big question is – why do they want to stay young?

Seeking attention

Everyone craves attention. Each one of us has surely done something to win it. It’s therefore no revelation that old people want to stay young. They want to be noticed as well.

The ladies will wear make up, dye there hair black, paint their nails all colours to look good and draw attention. As for the old gents, don’t be stunned if you see one with pinned ears, the latest trendy haircuts, and bling bling.

Human nature

Its psychological that no one wants to grow old. Me, you, him, her, and them they all want to stay young. If there was a secret deal that kept people young, we would all struggle to own it. I can bet on that.

It’s obvious that we also want to stay smart. Sincerely who wants to keep the wrinkles, dry skin and walk on a stick? We want to stay smart and chic. Lately, around the streets of Kigali you will meet oldies in mini dresses, pants, latest designer cloths you think are for the young. The old are taking over.

Keeping healthy

Besides the looks, older people want to keep their health at the peak. Looking young is looking healthy. They want to feel strong at the age of 70.

Working out, jogging, lifting weights, steam baths, keeps people healthy. Lets’ not forget dieting and eating right. The secret to avoiding old age is staying young. Whatever it takes, it doesn’t matter, we shall all use up our years.
