IT’S now a universal truth that family ties are tough things to break and this is no exception with music.

In this case, the families of: Rwandan veteran singer, Athanase Sentore, Ugandan’s Dr. Jose Chameleon and Bobi Wine, the legendary Jackson family, Will Smith, to mention a few, are testimonies to the fact that talent transcends family.

It’s no surprise, therefore, that Dscotty, a brother to SALAX award-winner, The Ben, has embarked on his music journey.

The 26-year-old R&B singer has already released his first single ‘Undi Ukuruta’ and the song has earned him a name in the country’s entertainment scene. It was produced by BZB from TFP Records.

Dscotty, real name, Byiringiro Dan, who like his brother, started his career from Rwanda for Jesus’ choir ‘Justified group’, is now doing secular music with Dave of D&D. Hope he lives up to his brother’s traits.
