Sincerely I love math. In fact I have loved math since
I was a kid
Since I was in kindergarten
I liked to Subtract, Add, Multiply and Divide figures
My favorite computation was "1+1”
Simple, the answer is 2
I called myself a mathematician.

I was nurtured, as I discovered my destiny in education
I then find out "1+1” does not equal to "2” anymore!
My teacher stood in front of the class and said…
"I can prove to you that "1+1 is not "2”!
Can anyone imagine this!
"Noooo!” I always disagreed!
Even when I he proved it right, I never understood
I was just the Un-mathematician math lover.

As I grew up, I was forced to look for "X”
Every calculation leads me to find "X”
"X+2=10, then comes the big question… "Find x?”
Such calculations, gash, why?
Why look for X when I can see it right there?
I was wrong; I even failed to tame my
favourite topic, Algebra
I spent 11 years looking for X, but couldn’t find it
I was only the Un-Mathematician Math lover!

Then came one of my favorite topics, Money Matters
It’s obvious why it seemed my favorite
Because I was fond of counting money in my mother’s bag
But my marks from the math test,
Devastating, they were!!

The look of a mathematician dividing, subtracting
and multiplying
Made me love math even more.
Swiftly summing up figures to find answer in 5 seconds,
Was just awesome!
But I never improved even though I loved math
I was only the Un-mathematician math lover

One day I am gonna’ have kids
And, I will tell them Daddy was a mathematician
I will say, he was good at finding X.
And my grades were fantastic, I will emphasize.
I still love math and wish to do it even now, I will boast
I still love my math
Should they ask about my report card?
I will only utter, ‘my father kept it.’
But at heart … I will keep it to myself
I am still the Un-mathematician math lover

As for chemistry…they will know I was another star
I wish I could split it for you as well, but…
It’s another story…
Truly I remain yours,
The Un-mathematician math lover
