Renowned producer Pro Zed, who is also the brains behind Loud Sound Music label, has launched a weekly podcast that aims to breakdown ways of improving Rwanda’s music industry.

Dubbed 'Get Paid', the podcast is coming to life at a time when the industry is driven by the young generation, with most members of Loud Sound Music label at the top of the game.

According to Pro zed, founder and host of the podcast, 'Get Paid' podcast is a space for Rwandan musicians to discuss issues related to the Rwandan music industry and how they can be improved.

"What caught my interest in this is how most young artistes don’t like to engage in interviews with YouTubers, and I brought this podcast to life for Rwandan artistes to tell their stories and breakdown different topics regarding the industry, as well as finding ways to improve it,” Zed told The New Times, adding that the podcast is an idea he had for years.

Another thing, he said, the podcast will host different players in Rwanda’s art sector, from musicians and producers, to journalists and everyone involved in the entertainment industry.

The ‘Get Paid’ Podcast is Produced by Muhyr Twinkie and directed by Icon.

First episode of the podcast premiered on February 2, with Ish Kevin and Ririmba as special guests. It will be posted every week on Loud Sound Music YouTube channel.
