Yes, I mean giving your best shot to achieve whatever it is that you are reaching for, especially those things you know are essential for you to get to your destination or dream!

When David O. Mckay said "As long the day lasts, let’s give it all we’ve got.” I don’t believe he was only trying to empower us like anyone simply trying to be useful to the world would, but also telling us what he can testify to and has assurance from.

It’s only natural that we are definitely all looking to a much better, more prosperous future for ourselves, friends, family and our country at large… but I have resolved that it’s a complete whole other thing to actually step out in action to give it the very best that we have within you.

There is this usual popular notion that whenever someone is picked out to do a certain task, they turn and look for a dishonest alternative, most probably cheating , or when someone is faced with some difficult trials and tribulations, they end up backing out of everything… or maybe your that kind of person!

The bitter truth is that nothing you have not worked for, sacrificed, given every bit of your effort for turns out to have value in your life. They say, "The short-cut is often the wrong-cut.” I agree and add that, "the easy route is very often the liar.”

It is those things that you can boldly face in spite of our insecurities, those things you are willing to stay up all night for, those things for which you’ll not stop at anything until they succeed, things that you are willing to stand for in the face of friends who are walking away because you believe it is worth it, those are the things that leave a footprint in your life!

I would want that you invest your time and energy, while you still have it, in a cause that will live on when you are gone. If you wish to be counted a blessing to someone else and to your country, care to remind yourself this, "we often pray for purity, unselfishness, the highest qualities of character, and forget that these things cannot be given, but must be earned!” Lyman Abbot.

Someone once told me, even if you are a  street sweeper, sweep with all your heart and let the angels in heaven look down and say to God, "behold there lives a great street sweeper!” it is much better than looking rich, powerful and collected to the world yet you actually really have nothing to offer:  Give it your all!
