Movie: Machete

Genre: Mystery & Suspense, Action & Adventure

Rated: R for strong bloody violence throughout, language, some sexual content and nudity

Running Time: 1 hr. 45 min

Release Date: Sep 3, 2010 Wide

Plot: there is a possibly insane man out there, who goes by the name Machete, whose weapon of choice is.... you guessed right, a MACHETE! After being betrayed by the organization who hired him, an ex-Federale launches a brutal rampage of revenge against his former boss. Set near the Mexico-US border, it touches on the plight of the illegal migrants.

Verdict: Machete is messy, violent, shallow, and tasteless.  Which makes it one of the most enjoyable films recently released. With an impressive cast, this movie is easy to mistake for a serious movie, but that would make you miss the point. Don’t look for sense in this movie, because it is not meant to have any.
