Jodas Sengabo thrills fans at ‘Bene U Rwanda’ album launch

Sensational gakondo singer Jodas Sengabo launched his 10-song album in an outstanding album launch show alongside other Gakondo singers at Cayenne resort, Kimironko.

The album launch kicked off around 8pm with an epic performance by cultural troupe ‘Indangamirwa’. First came the troupe’s drummers who effortlessly wowed the crowd as they showed off their styles warming up revelers for an amazing traditional show that was about to take place.

The famous duo, Ange and Pamella were then welcomed on stage and people were there for it. The amazing talented twin sisters have taken gakondo lovers by storm since embarking this journey. Revelers couldn’t take off their eyes from the duo as they sang ‘Rusengo’, ‘Naraye Ndose’ and ‘Ngwino Rukundo’

The duo made their first public appearance when they backed legendary gakondo singer Cecile Kayirebwa, who was also present at the ‘Bene U Rwanda’ album launch.

Iganze Gakondo, an all-male cultural group then came on stage as the third performers of the night and gave people a memorable performance. The group made of seven members entertained revelers in songs that celebrates Rwanda’s heroes Inkotanyi that liberated the country. on January 31, the group held their debut concert ‘Urwinziza Rurahamye’ that celebrated heroes day together with Gakondo lovers.

Gakondo singer Nkirinkindi dressed in army camouflage also gave an electronic performance in different songs including ‘Runyenyeri’, ‘Kabanyana’, ‘Mwarakoze Inkotanyi’ and ‘Intwari z’ U Rwanda among others.

Dressed in Umushanana, Audia Intore did what she does best as revelers cheered her up. The ‘Sine ya Mwiza’ hit maker expressed hee gratitude for performing at the album launch and invited people at her concert slated March 3.

Poet Junior Rumaga blessed people with a performance of his recent released poems ‘Mazi ya Nyanja’ featuring Alyn Sano, ‘Ivangiri’ featuring Alpha Rwirangira and ‘kibobo’ he did with Juno Kizigenza.

The highly anticipated performance of the man of the show finally kicked off as revelers eagerly waited to hear Sengabo sing. Coming up on stage the crowd didn’t keep it calm as they showed the singer so much love during his entire performance. He sang most of the songs on the ‘Bene U Rwanda’ album while people danced to it and as well as the Indangamirwa troupe who had joined him on stage.
