Tigo Rwanda has announced a 50 percent discount promotion on all calls within the East African region.
Officials at the Muhima based telecom company said the 50 percent discount applies to all Tigo subscribers whether prepaid of postpaid.

"We offer a 50 percent discount on calls made to Kenya, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania after the second minute. This is an end of year promotion for calls made within East Africa,” Nina Ndabaneze said.

MTN Rwanda is also offering a festive promotion where the company offers a 70 percent discount on MTN to MTN calls. According to MTN officials the company is offering between 20 percent to 30 percent bonus airtime on loading.

Rwandatel is still running the Rwf 3 per minute promotion and the company is yet to announce a festive promotions.
