ISAE Busogo battle Lycee de Kigali in the boys’ final of the CSR schools cricket tournament at Kagarama secondary school this afternoon.
Lycee defeated Apade by seven runs (103-96) in the semi-final on Saturday to set up a date with ISAE Busogo, who saw off Kigali Select in the other semi-final.
In the girls’ final, Kagarama secondary school will be seeking to retain their crown when they play Apred Ndera in the morning.
Tournament Director Emmanuel Byiringiro told Sunday Sport yesterday that the two-week tournament has unearthed new talent.
"We hoped this tourney would spring up new talent and I am pleased to say that we managed to scout some new players.
"The game has also become popular in the country side because many schools from upcountry took part,” Byiringiro, who also dubs as the Rwanda Cricket Association Secretary General said.
