Movie: GREEN ZONE

Runtime: 1 hr. 55 min.

Rated R for violence and language

Genre: Drama, Mystery & Suspense

Release Date: Mar 12, 2010
Plot:  In the film, Damon stars as Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller, a rogue U.S. Army officer who must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil before war escalates in an unstable region.

Damon gets really suspicious as none of the missions he is sent to report any activity or storage of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), despite having received the intel from "credible sources”.

His instincts lead him on a trail to the highest levels of administration in an attempt to discover who is behind all the cover ups and bad intelligence.

Verdict: Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass teamed up together to form the thrilling Bourne films. Green Zone is not as great, but nevertheless, "Green Zone” offers itself up as more realistic, more hard-hitting, than the typical war movie.

Starring: Matt Damon, Greg Kinnear, Brendan Gleeson, Amy Ryan

Director: Paul Greengrass
Screenwriter: Brian Helgeland
