Adultery should not be handled in criminal courts anymore

Editor, I found it quite amusing that the Executive Secretary of Gasabo District, has been arrested, allegedly on accusations of adultery, after having been caught in bed with another man’s wife. I guess that he really shouldn’t have been sleeping with another mans wife, but I think that its not really the business of the Prosecutor General and the Parliament to criminalise adultery.

Editor,

I guess that he really shouldn’t have been sleeping with another mans wife, but I think that its not really the business of the Prosecutor General and the Parliament to criminalise adultery.

I think its rather primitive and I think that this ‘crime’ should be struck off the law books. Our Prosecution department has better things to do other than involving themselves in the sex lives of two sober adults.
