Tunisia 3-2 Egypt (25-16, 22-25, 25-27, 25-20, 15-13)

Bronze medal

Morocco 3-0 Rwanda (25-23, 25-20, 25-22)

RWANDA’s junior volleyball team failed to finish inside the medal bracket after suffering a straight sets defeat against Morocco in the 2010 Junior Africa Nations Championship.

Having beaten the North Africans at the group stage (3-2), the youngsters thought they would have it their way only to be stunned with a 25-23, 25-20, 25-22 defeat at the multisport complex hall in Misurata, Libya.

Meanwhile, Tunisia retained the trophy after edging past their arch rivals Egypt 3-2 (25-16, 22-25, 25-27, 25-20, 15-13) in an exciting finale which lasted over 2 hours. It was their eighth title in the history of the competition which was first placed in 1984.

Eight teams took part in the event.
