Jamaican dancehall singer Collin Demar Edwards jetted in the country on Wednesday evening ahead of the Dutty December concert slated for January 28, at BK Arena. However Trappish star Ish Kevin and Chriss Eazy have already withdrawn their performances.

The concert has had issues since it was announced and that doesn’t seem to change with local artistes withdrawing their performances while the concert is only two days away.

In a communique shared by Giti Business Group, the management label of singer Chriss Eazy they accused the concert promoters of unseriousness and lack of professionalism.

"We are saddened to announce that our artiste Chriss Eazy will not be performing at the upcoming event "Demarco Live in Kigali’ organized by Diamond League ENT, set to take place on Saturday, January 28 at BK Arena.

After careful consideration, we have decided to withdraw Chriss Eazy from the event due to the unseriousness and unprofessionalism of the event organizers. As a record label, we hold the highest standards for our artists and the events they perform at. We refuse to subject our artist to an event that does not meet those standards.

We apologize to the fans that were looking forward to seeing Chriss Eazy perform, but we hope they understand our decision to prioritize the well-being and professional development of our artist. We will continue to work with reputable and professional event organizers in the future. We are sorry. Thank you,” they announced.

Rapper Ish Kevin also announced via his Instagram page that he won’t be performing at the concert.

"Sorry to my fans who saw me on the poster of Demarco show in Kigali, it was an error because I won’t be performing there and it is being taken care of, thank you.”

Organised by Diamond League Entertainment (DLE), the concert was at first supposed to take place in Kigali on December 29, but was postponed just a day before the date it was supposed to kick off. Organisers then announced that it was postponed to January 28, 2023 with a lineup of local artistes who were yet to be announced.
