Allow me to congratulate Professor Manasseh Nshuti for the series of informative articles that have been published so far. I read his various articles with interest but especially those on the renegades.

How on earth can General Kayumba, Karegeya, Gahima, and his brother, Rudasingwa, work with the FDRL terrorists? I have heard their interviews on BBC and VOA, and I can’t believe what I hear. Have these fellows gone mad?

I believe Professor Nshuti because he is in government. His articles are not a smear campaign. Much of what he writes we already know of.  We know the behavior of Gahima and Rudasingwa, how they seriously abused their power. They wielded their power to make money and grab plots here in Kigali etc.

What shocked us most is to learn that they helped Kabuga, a suspected Genoide mastermind, escape when he was almost caught! I thought that the USA had placed a $5 million bounty on him? Can’t they ask South Africa to quiz Karegeya to explain what he did?

In any case, bravo The New Times and kudos to Prof. Nshuti for revealing all this to us. Can someone tell me what they are up to now? Why have they tarnished their names so much? Do they have hope of coming home?

I agree with Professor Nshuti that General Kayumba and Karegeya were not Rwandans. We all lost words to describe these follows. Let them know that they’ve lost the most important things in life.
