This letter is in reference to your article in The Sunday Times, titled "14- year old to lead Rwanda at opening ceremony”.
I was delighted to read that young, budding, Alphonsine Agahozo at the tender age of 14 years carried Rwanda’s flag during the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.
This is a glowing example how Rwanda firmly believes in youth empowerment and how the country will always encourage the younger generation in building the New Rwanda.
I am wishing Alphonsine Agahozo and the entire Team Rwanda every success in the Commonwealth games now under way in New Delhi.
