MTN launches “scratch and win” Promotion

In what MTN calls “the most innovative promotion to date in the telecom sector”, MTN customers will be required to purchase airtime vouchers and scratch the silver panel to reveal the prizes they have won.

To commemorate ts 12th anniversary, MTN Rwanda yesterday morning announced the launch of "Shishura Baguhereze” (scratch and win) promotion.

In what MTN calls "the most innovative promotion to date in the telecom sector”, MTN customers will be required to purchase airtime vouchers and scratch the silver panel to reveal the prizes they have won.

Announcing the promotion at MTN Centre, MTN’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Rugege, said that: "The Scratch and win promotion prizes include various items like back packs, t-shirts, caps, wall clocks, water bottles, key rings and pens.”

"Customers will be able to redeem their prizes at any of our customer service centres and shops across the country,” he added.

Rugege added that since MTN’s anniversary celebrations began on 25th September 2010, MTN customers have been enjoying an 80% discount on all calls as an addition to the bonus airtime a customer receives every time they top-up.

"Giving significant discounts as well as additional prizes and airtime to our customers is our way of saying thank you to our customers for supporting MTN,” Rugege said.
