If anyone needed any more proof that our local artists are doing tremendously well, Mani Martin just provided it.
The widely acclaimed singer Mani Martin is reportedly preparing a mega concert for children at Umucyo Mwiza Primary School, located in Kimironko, a suburb of Kigali city.
Speaking to The New Times, Mani Martin confirmed the reports, saying that he was invited by the sponsor of the school, Marie-Louise Kambega, who is based in Japan.
"Madam Kambega watched my music on YouTube and asked me to perform at the school she sponsors,” Mani Martin said.
He added "I am so excited that I am to perform for kids because most of my concerts are attended by adults.”

Meanwhile, it is reported that Madam Kambega jetted into the country a few days ago, purposely to attend Mani Martin’s concert.

Mani Martin has also revealed that he is working on a big project to train and support young children talented in music.

"There are very many children who are talented in music, but in most cases they miss out on the chance to develop their talents,” the singer explained.

The 21-year-old singer is expected to belt out all his songs including ‘Amazi magari’, ‘Urubanza rw’urukundo’ ‘Nyibwirira, ‘Yari wowe’ and ‘Amateke’.
