Society Debate: Would you kiss someone smelling of alcohol?

Of course!Let’s admit it; those of us who don’t drink and those of you who drown yourselves in beers, we both have one thing in common; we find the smell of alcohol irresistibly beautiful.

Of course!
Let’s admit it; those of us who don’t drink and those of you who drown yourselves in beers, we both have one thing in common; we find the smell of alcohol irresistibly beautiful.

First of all, let’s scrutinize a few issues here. What is kissing? Some research that I undertook has made me define kissing, as the act of pressing one’s lips against the lips or other parts of another person. Kisses come in all types, sizes and shapes, depending on who you’re kissing.

It is advised that you don’t kiss your sister like you would kiss your girlfriend, or else, clan elders and the police would merge forces to throw you behind bars and throw your cell’s keys at the bottom of Lake Kivu for attempting incest.

Let’s as well scrutinize the reasons for kissing. Why does someone go all the way to place their lips on someone else’s? What is the significance of this seemingly weird behavior?

The answer is simple… people kiss others just to show affection, to prove how much they care. Most importantly, people are kissed for who they are; be it they are garlic addicts, smokers, or friends of liquor.

By refusing to kiss someone, simply because they took some wine, you are not just being unreasonable, but rather, very, very selfish.

It implies that you always want things to go your way and you are not willing to compromise for the sake of making the other feel loved.

It also implies that you don’t like the other person for who they are, but rather for who you want them to become… still very selfish.

Just put yourself in the shoes of someone who has taken some liquor and wants a little kiss from the person they think loves them. How would you feel if your advances were rejected?

People in relationships ought to know that they must give their all… it takes sacrifice to make a relationship work. In this context, they must prove their love by getting used to the things they don’t like about their partners.

Denying your partner a kiss may sound like a small issue, but you never know the effect that it might have on them. It might drain their self esteem to very disastrous levels; it might even affect your relationship.

Sooner or later, your partner may start looking for kisses elsewhere whenever he drinks a few beers. You should start looking at a kiss as a credit, because it is profitable when returned.

Besides that, shouldn’t you just be glad that the person brushes his teeth every morning, despite the booze smell?
