Rumours are buzzing around Kigali city and probably beyond - that international music star Beyoncé Knowles is in the country.

According to unsubstantiated reports, the Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) singer arrived in the country on Monday, but no one, so far, knows her whereabouts and the reasons for her visit.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé’s fans in town are camped at different venues, including the Kigali Serena and Select Hotel, Gisozi memorial site, Shokola and Republika in anticipation.
The 29-year old American Pop and R&B singer-songwriter, actress and fashion designer, is married to rap legend Jay-Z.

Though the rumour is still making the rounds, The New Times does not have valid information about the singer’s visit to the country.
