PRIMUS pre-season cup winners, SC Kiyovu will tour Uganda as part of their pre-season training in preparation for the 2010/11 season that kicks next month.

While in Kampala, the Rwanda side will play two friendly matches against Ugandan clubs SC Villa and Express, according to head coach Jean Marie Ntwagabira.

Ntwagabira told Times Sport yesterday that he would be traveling to Kampala soon to organize the friendlies but did not divulge details.

"I’m going to Kampala soon to organize for the friendlies with SC Villa and Express. I will give you more details soon,” the 38-year-old said.

The former APR and Atraco coach also plans to use the trip to persuade Johnson Bagoole into signing for his club.
The Ugandan midfielder is reported to have agreed terms with 11-time league champions, APR but did not rule out joining Kiyovu with whom he has held separate talks.

After winning the Primus Cup and beefing up the squad with a couple of new signings, football pundits believe that Ntagwabira has a squad strong enough to challenge for the league title.

Kiyovu strolled though to the Primus Cup after ejecting APR 1-0 at the semi-finals and beating Rayon Sport 2-1 in the final.

Ntagwabira is also seeking to become the first coach to win three league titles with three different clubs after his triumph with APR and Atraco.
