Ugandan international Johnson Bagoole and DRC’s Karim McKenzie have agreed terms with APR but seem to be stalling to sign until they get a better offer from rivals Kiyovu, Times Sport has reliably learnt.

APR Secretary General Adolphe Kalisa told this reporter yesterday that the pair had already joined APR but refused to disclose any further information.

"They are APR players but I cannot reveal anything else at the moment,” Kalisa said.Bagoole told Times Sport that he had agreed terms with the Cecafa Champions but had not yet signed because he was still waiting for his former Club AS Vita to process his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

"I have agreed terms with APR and also trained with the team but I’m yet to sign a contract,” the midfielder said and refused to rule out a move to Kiyovu if he gets a better offer."

If Kiyovu give me a better offer, then I will consider my options,” Bagoole said.Karim McKenzie was reluctant to comment on the issue.Kiyovu coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira has refused to give up on the duo.

"I’m a bit disappointed with them (Bagoole and McKenzie) for not telling me that they had talked to APR. I plan to go to Kampala, so maybe I will talk Bagoole into joining Kiyovu,” a rather disappointed Ntagwabira said.
