EIGHTY-nine lecturers and fifty five administrators from Universite Libre de Kigali (ULK) recently completed a three-day training course on managerial skills.

The university Rector, Dr. Alphonse Ngagi, said the workshop was aimed at delivering better quality service to the public through training the country’s children.

The university Chancellor, Senator Balinda Rwigamba, said the big part of the training focused on the need for quality management, which he believes will be more effective to the trainees.

"We gave law and management a big priority in this workshop because both fields are regarded as the key factor to development,” he said.

He said that ULK is in partnership with other universities which will help them exchange views concerning education sector.

"We are so far in a joint venture with Makerere and Kyambogo Universities in Uganda, we will be exchanging lecturers in order to come up with quality services in the region,” he explained.
