REGIONAL experts on climate change and population growth are convening in Kampala to develop a common understanding on how to address the challenges associated with the growing population in the region.

According to the Executive Director, Rwanda Family Welfare Association, Dr Laurien Nyabyenda, the conference has come at the right time.

"We participated in this conference because we believe it is something that concerns us all, and I think we are going to share our experience and ideas on this topic and also learn about other people’s experiences,” he said.

"We believe that there is a close relationship between climate and mankind and it is important to meet as a region to seek solutions to the challenges of climate change and population growth”.
