RWANDA Revenue Authority need one more win to secure their first league title after Saturday’s straight sets (3-0) win over Rwaza.

The tax-collectors eased through to the first set win (25-14) but fought hard before securing 26-24 and 25-22 wins in the second and third sets.

Jean Luc Ndayikengurukiye’s side will now lift their maiden title if they beat National University of Rwanda (NUR) this Saturday.

The former APR and national team captain thinks winning the title at NUR’s grounds would be special.

"It is a very difficult place to go to and take three points because their vocal fans but we are up for the task,” he said.

Meanwhile, APR also edged closer to a fourth successive league title after Sunday’s 3-0 win over Unatek.

NUR also maintained their pressure on the leaders with a 3-0 win over Christ Roi (CXR).
