SPORTS Club Kiyovu is on the verge of signing Burundi’s Karim McKenzie Nizigiyimana and Ugandan international Johnson Bagoole from DRC’s AS Vita.

Bagoole and Nizigiyimana are said to be in talks with Kiyovu and Jean Marie Ntagwabira is confident the pair will come onboard.

"Talks are ongoing but from the first look of things, everything seems to be going according to plan,” the Kiyovu coach said.

While Bagoole is a new face at the club, Nizigiyimana is joining for a second stint.
Early last season, the Burundian defender joined AS Vita for Rwf10m.

Ntagwabira, who is still chasing for his first league title at Kiyovu after winning titles with APR and Atraco, believes that the pair is what Kiyovu needs to push for the Primus league title in the 2010/2011 season.

"Bagoole and Nizigiyimana are very experienced players and are familiar with the primus league so it will not be hard for them to adapt,” he added.

Bagoole joined AS Vita from Atraco.
Some of the other players who have joined Kiyovu include Dady Birori, Berch Bawuma, Hussein Sibomana, Rodriguez Murengenzi and Marcel Lomami.

Kiyovu recently lifted the pre-season Primus Cup after beating Rayon Sport in the final.
