The National Under-18 basketball team needs to up their offensive game if they are to perform well in the upcoming Afro-basket U-18 Kagame Cup, according to assistant coach Moise Mutokambali.

The team which recently returned from a two-week training camp in San Diego and Los Angeles, has been impressive in the league after winning two games in a row; 71-53 against Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) and 75-52 against Espoir.

However, Mutokambali still insists that the team needs to improve their offensive play by working the ball around with speed and agility.

"We shall be playing against top quality sides so it is paramount that we beef up our attack,” he noted.
"These teams will try to limit the passing lanes and shut us down so we have to be prepared,” Mutokambali added.

The tournament is slated for October 8 -17 at Amahoro indoor stadium.
