Editor,

In two issues of The New Times earlier this week, there were stories related to training of the entrepreneurship skills in Rwandan universities.

The first article was in regard to the introduction of Entrepreneurship classes at the School of Finance and Banking and in Friday’s issue was a story about KIST students being receiving cash prizes after winning a business plan writing competition.

Through your paper, I would like to commend such initiatives. They serve to promote the development of the private sector, by creating minds that think business. And, on a larger perspective, the will enable universities to produce more job creators than seekers.
