The 52-year-old Ghanaian explained that while there are talented players in other clubs, APR’s dominance over the years has been detrimental to the general progress of local football.
"There is only one club in the league that satisfactorily attends to its players and that is APR. The rest are struggling to even raise basic salary for their players so how much do you expect such players to give on the football pitch,” Tetteh wondered.
Although he did not directly blame this for Amavubi’s 3-0 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers’ defeat against Ivory Coast last Saturday, Tetteh concedes that it would be in the best interest of Amavubi if Ferwafa devised a way of making the league more competitive.
Since APR’s inception in 1994, the club has strolled to 11 league titles and nine Peace Cup trophies among others.
