Editor,

I recently visited the offices of the Rwanda Migration at Kacyiru to apply for a passport.I had been at these offices sometime back last year and must admit every day comes with improved customer-friendly services and facilities at these offices.

The counters have been modified to allow closer and friendlier interactions with clients. Each staff attends to you and makes you feel like you are the only person seeking their services despite the sizeable crowds seeking migration services each hour of the day.

I was so impressed with the quickest hi-tech response in form of an sms to your handset even before you leave the building acknowledging receipt of your request for a travel document.

True to their promise, a week later I had the travel document accompanied by a brochure with very useful information on their services.

I salute the Rwanda Migration management and staff for truly setting the pace in dispensing the best and prompt customer friendly services. Now I understand why you scooped the best e-government solution Intego award and the Innovation award (AAPAM).

I hope other service providers in the country borrow a leaf from you.
