Mother of triplets appeals for help

GICUMBI - A mother who produced triplets, last Thursday, at Byumba Hospital, is appealing for assistance from well wishers. Chantal Nyiraromba, 36, who a resident of Cyamuhinda village in Muko Sector told The New Times that they have no financial ability to cater for the three babies.

GICUMBI - A mother who produced triplets, last Thursday, at Byumba Hospital, is appealing for assistance from well wishers.

Chantal Nyiraromba, 36, who a resident of Cyamuhinda village in Muko Sector told The New Times that they have no financial ability to cater for the three babies.

"My husband Etienne Rusakara is a peasant who earns a living by cultivating other peoples’ land. I appeal to well wishers to help me bring up these children,” said Nyiraromba.

According to the Director of Byumba Hospital, Dr. Fred Muhairwe, the lady produced two girls and one boy, who are all below the required minimum weight of at least above two kilograms.

He disclosed that the children have been put in incubators until they gain the required minimum weight.
