Equity Market

This week, the Rwanda OTC market had a total turnover of Rwf 1,029,000 from KCB 7,000 shares traded in three transactions at the price of Rwf 147. The share price of KCB closed the week at Rwf 147 an increase of Rwf 2 from the previous week’s closing. At the end of the session on Friday, there were no bids or offers.

This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), KCB shares hit a low of 18.05 Kshs (Rwf131) and a high of 19.10 Kshs (Rwf139).  On Thursday, a total of 1,233,200 KCB shares were traded and closed at 19.00 Kshs (138 Rfw).

The NSE All share index closed the week lower at 96.11 compared to the previous week’s closing of 96.31.

The Bond Market:

No transactions were recorded. At the close of business on Friday, there was a bid of Rwf 100 million government bonds at 98.237 and there were no sellers.

There was no transaction on the BCR bond
