A cabinet meeting chaired by President Paul Kagame yesterday confirmed the appointment of Kalisa Tunga as the Chief of State Protocol. In other appointments, the cabinet also appointed Keuria Sangwa as the Deputy Principal Private Secretary to deputise Francis Gatare. Also appointed was Betty Tushabe as the Senior Policy Analyst in SPU.

In other appointments, the cabinet also appointed Keuria Sangwa as the Deputy Principal Private Secretary to deputise Francis Gatare. Also appointed was Betty Tushabe as the Senior Policy Analyst in SPU.
Shaduri Rumongi was also confirmed as the Communications and Protocol Officer in Office of the First Lady. Also appointed was Al Bashir Bizumuremyi to be the Director of Finance and Administration Unit in the Ministry of Local Government and Nociata Mukamurenzi to be the Director of Finance and Administration Unit in the Road Maintenance Fund.
Cabinet also named new Honorary Consuls including Tarek Ragheb for Egypt, Zhi Zhong Qiu for Hong Kong, and Enrico Lalia Morra in Italy.
In other development, the cabinet cleared the National University of Rwanda (NUR) to conduct Post Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Quality control in medical drug industry.
Kigali Institute of Education (KIE) was cleared to start a Master’s Degree in Gender, Culture and Development and Post Graduate Certificate Program in Continuing Professional Development in Gender, Culture and Development.
