District officials asked to uphold work ethics

GICUMBI - District officials have been urged to uphold professional work ethics and serve diligently with minimum supervision at all times. The call was made by Mayor Bonane Nyangezi this week during a swearing in ceremony of district employees.

GICUMBI - District officials have been urged to uphold professional work ethics and serve diligently with minimum supervision at all times.The call was made by Mayor Bonane Nyangezi this week during a swearing in ceremony of district employees.

"It is important that you render your services to the people with dedication and honesty so as to realise quick development of our district,” said Nyangezi.

He further called on the employees to double their efforts in order to enable the district to improve its ranking in the next national performance evaluation.

"Gicumbi District attained the second position in the recently concluded evaluation. We should work hard as a team to attain the first position during the next performance evaluation,” added Nyangezi.

Among those who were swore in were district heads of departments, directors of health centres and Byumba Hospital, school head teachers and sector executive secretaries.
