BIG Brother organised a special Diary session for the Barnmates to tap into their feelings on Yacob’s decision to voluntarily leave the Big Brother All Stars Game.

This is not the first time that a Barnmate has had to leave as Ghana’s Sammi was diagnosed with Elevated Hypertension and opted to exit the Barn.

The Barnmates said Yacob’s exit could leave a damp mood in the Barn. The Barnmates had a lot to say about this:

Lerato "Personally, it sucks. We have a lot of fun together and will miss him a lot but it’s his call. I have no choice but to support him. We have to find it in ourselves to cope. Who am I going to tease and fight with? We are like an old married couple. I hope he will not feel bad for taking this decision though and it shouldn’t be too much for him to bear.”

Sheila "It will be a great loss to us because we all feed on each other’s energies. A part of me feels like he’s being selfish because he knows it’s hard in here but I also understand that I have to respect his decision.”

Hannington "It is always sad to see someone leave but there’s nothing I can do about it. When Yacob entered the Barn, it was great to have someone I could connect with at a guy level because Sammi had already left. However, I hope that the next Barnmate will be a guy to sort of balance things out in here.”

Tatiana "It’s so sad because Yacob is one of those people you just like playing around with. He’s like a male doll. He will leave a big gap in the Barn.”
