As the country gears up for the great day when His Excellency President Paul Kagame will officially be swon-in as the Head of State for the second consecutive term, please allow me to extend my warm greetings and best wishes to Mr. President for a very successful term in office.
The country has made phenomenal strides under the able guidance of President Kagame and the RPF Party and it is without a doubt that if the people of Rwanda join hands with the Government as they have done so well over the last sixteen years, after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, the nation will continue marching forward and achieve the Vision 2020 as has been set out by the Government.
In our world, there are always bad elements who want to pull down individuals and even governments. But with the firm foundation laid down by the ruling RPF Party, the country will surely be able to weather these storms and emerge victorious.
In India, we would be delighted to engage more with Rwanda the land of a thousand hills and of a million smiles.
