Mayor urges staff to develop district

The Mayor of Kicukiro District, Paul Jules Ndamage, has called on his staff to use their skills and knowledge to help the district prosper. He made the call Monday while swearing-in district officials on at Ecole Secondaire Kicukiro in Nyenyeli Sector.

The Mayor of Kicukiro District, Paul Jules Ndamage, has called on his staff to use their skills and knowledge to help the district prosper. He made the call Monday while swearing-in district officials on at Ecole Secondaire Kicukiro in Nyenyeli Sector.

"I advise each and every individual who has sworn in today to know that it’s your obligation to fulfil what you have pledged to do because this will enable our district and country at large achieve development goals”  

He urged them to fight illiteracy in the district by encouraging parents to always take their children to school and fight against corruption.

Speaking to The New Times, Ndamage said "The swearing will enable the employees to improve the staff’s accountability as spelt out in the performance contracts”.
He also said that it will also help them keep committed to their daily duties.

Those who were sworn in included, Sector Executive Secretaries, cell coordinators and executive secretaries, heads of departments and the district Executive Secretary.
