Ten head to Germany for coaching licenses

TEN local coaches are in Germany to further their coaching knowledge reports Bonnie Mugabe. The coaches, who left on Friday aboard Ethiopian Airlines, were drawn from clubs who feature in the Primus league and second division.

TEN local coaches are in Germany to further their coaching knowledge reports Bonnie Mugabe. The coaches, who left on Friday aboard Ethiopian Airlines, were drawn from clubs who feature in the Primus league and second division.

At the end of the three-week course, successful candidates will earn Coaching license C.

Since 1976, DFB (German Football Association) has held over 30 coaching courses on behalf of the Federal Foreign Office. The courses are conducted by experienced football trainers and DFB experts based at the Koblenz and Hennef Sports Academies. The courses are held in English or French, and successful participants receive A, B or C coaching licenses.

Selected coaches:  Justin Bisengimana (Sorwathe), Fasto Bizimana (Minadef), Katibito (Intare), Penina Mbabazi (Inyemera Filles), Consolée Mukashema (Rambura Filles), Muhammad Ndikumana (La Jeunesse), François Nsengiyumva (Centre Kayonza), Benjamin Nshimiyimana (Police), Muhammad Ntibatega (Stella Maris) and Francois Regis Uwayezu (APR FC).
