InterSec Security Company has given over Frw 2 million in prizes to winners in the InterSec Christmas Quiz that was broadcast on City Radio FM throughout last December.

The Sales and Marketing Manager, Jenipher Ingabire, said that the quiz in which 24 people participated was one of the strategies the security company devised to create more awareness on its services. Ingabire added that the move is part of the corporate social responsibility.

"We need to give back to the society where we operate from,” she said.
"And we felt this could be wonderful and appropriate if it came at the end of the year,” she added.

The award giving ceremony that was broadcast live at City Radio FM on Sunday, January 13, was presided over by Ingabire who thanked participants and urged Rwandans to prepare themselves for the forthcoming similar quizzes by having the facts about InterSec services on their finger tips. The prizes included; bicycles, airtime, T-shirts, bags, calendars among others. The first prize, a brand new bicycle, was scooped by Teoneste Gakwaya, 18.
