Alivera Mukabaramba (PCC)
ALIVERA MUKABARAMBA is a member of the Party of Progress and Concord (PPC). She was born in 1962 in Gicumbi (former Byumba) district in the Northern Province.

Mukabaramba has a PhD in medicine and she was a practicing medical doctor before she became a Member of Parliament in the transitional parliament.

She was also the PCC presidential candidate in 2003, but withdrew before the elections to support Paul Kagame’s candidature.

The 48-year-old Muakabaramba was elected to the Senate in 2008, where she is a member of the Social Affairs and Human Rights committee.
